Roussillon RCM Council Meeting
Wednesday January 27th 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

SOS Fernand-Seguin Forest, Heritage Saint-Bernard and Chateauguay's ornitologists club will use the next Roussillon RCM Council’s public hearing to demonstrate the unique ecological value of the Chateauguay-Léry forest and to testify of the importance given by the citizens to the preservation and enhancement of this magnificent territory.
The following documents will be handed in:
- The petition, holding 12,145 signatures
- The 584 handed memoirs and opinions written by Chateauguay citizens
- The report of the public consultation regarding the development of the Chateauguay South-West sector
- The floristic inventory reports done by André Sabourin
- The avifauna inventory report done by Chateauguay's ornitologists club
- The mycological flora inventory report by
Raymond McNeil
From the mayors serving at the RCM Council, we will demand acknowledgment of the entire green-belt territory as being one of high ecological interest and to include the site in the development plan of the Roussillon RCM.
